As a certified full-spectrum doula, my work is rooted in creating community spaces for women and birthing people that honor lived experience, cultural heritage, and spiritual alignment. As a mother two years postpartum, my own journey deepens my capacity for transformative care, cultural humility, and community-based support. I center the body and story as sacred sites of love, loss, and healing.
I am certified by the Birthworkers of Color Collective and trained in trauma-informed and culturally relevant care. My practice also incorporates herbalism and ancestral foods as pathways to reconnect with embodied wisdom and lineage-based healing. I offer support during pregnancy and the postpartum period, regardless of perinatal outcomes. I view birthwork as a fundamental human right, and I believe that every person deserves the freedom to express themselves narratively and somatically throughout their reproductive journey. I operate from an embodied birthworker perspective, honoring individual needs and providing holistic support.
Birthwrite is our current initiative, designed to provide space for narrative and somatic expression through movement, self-exploration, and creativity. What began as an embodied lived experience of me navigating my own pregnancy and postpartum journey has become something much larger than myself. During my Narrative Medicine masters program at Columbia University, my research on the relationship between narrative, the body, and ancestral memory began. I was inspired by Resmaa Menakem's Somatic Abolitionism, an embodied anti-racist practice focused on healing racialized trauma its physical and emotional effects on the body. The Birthwrite curriculum has been developed through evidence-based research, theoretical framework, and Indigenous wisdom pedagogies. But most importantly, it was crafted with love and spirit led and I can't wait to share space with you!
P.S. I took this lovely photo during my doula training, before closing ceremony. Such a sacred core memory! π·

Designed to support birthing people in becoming deeply embodied, spiritually aligned, and mentally grounded throughout their journey to conception. Rooted in ancestral wisdom and intergenerational healing, this work honors the stories held within the body while gently tending to the mind and spirit. Through the integration of herbal medicine, narrative practices, and intentional care, I create space for individuals to reconnect with themselves, their lineage, and their innate capacity to nurture lifeβon their own terms.
Support birthing people in cultivating a grounded, embodied, and spiritually connected pregnancy journey. Rooted in ancestral wisdom and intergenerational care, this work creates space to tend to the emotional, physical, and spiritual shifts of pregnancy. Through herbal support, narrative practices, and intentional guidance, I help you deepen trust in your body, connect with your baby, and prepare for birth with clarity, presence, and care.
Designed to hold you in the tender days after birth, when care should gently return to you. I provide nourishing, home-cooked meals, herbal support, belly binding, and intuitive newborn care so you can rest, recover, and bond with your baby. Rooted in ancestral postpartum traditions, this work centers warmth, softness, and deep replenishmentβtending to your body, supporting your healing, and honoring your transition into this new chapter with intention and care. I also offer facilitation for group sessions as well.
This offering is a gentle space for tending to the grief, complexity, and quiet transformations that accompany pregnancy loss. I support birthing people in softening back into their bodies, honoring what was, and making room for healing at their own pace. Rooted in ancestral wisdom, intergenerational care, and herbal support, this work holds you spiritually and emotionallyβoffering grounding, reflection, and care as you navigate loss. You do not have to move through this alone.

We created this community meal service as both an ode to birthing people and a reflection of my love for food as medicine. I have crafted hundreds of nourishing meals and herbal blends to support individuals across the full spectrum of the perinatal journey. When you donate, you help offset our sliding scale modelβmaking these nutrient-rich, love-filled meals accessible for low-income families. We partner with local co-ops and gardens to provide organic, homemade offerings. Each meal is prepared and blessed by my hands with deep intention and care. Whether you are preparing to welcome new life or healing your body after birth and/or miscarriage, this is food designed to hold you. Let food be thy medicine.
When you support birthing people, you support families and generations.

I honor Waawiyatanong (βwhere the waters curveβ), so called Detroit, as the ancestral and living homeland of the Anishinaabe peoplesβincluding the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomiβand the Wyandot Nation, holding this land and water in reverence while acknowledging the genocide, ethnic cleansing, and ongoing settler colonial violence endured here, and honoring Indigenous sovereignty, survival, and the healing wisdom of Indigenous peoples who continue to care for this land.
